Passover
Shabbat Hagadol:
April 11, 2025, Friday – Erev Shabbat 7:00 PM
April 12, 2025 Shabbat – Shabbat Morning 10:00 AM
Food on Shabbat Hagadol:
Since Shabbat directly leads into Passover, no chametz is eaten, and of course, it must be cleaned before Shabbat. There are various options (more on this below) – in the synagogue, we will use egg matzo for "hamotzi." Since we clean the kitchen but don't actually kasher, on Friday evening and Shabbat morning, we will only have drinks, egg matzo, fruit, vegetables, and Passover cake.

April 13, 2025, Sunday – 1st Day of Passover Shacharit (Morning Prayer) 10:00 AM
April 18, 2025, Friday – Erev Shabbat + 7th Evening 7:00 PM
April 19, 2025, Shabbat Chol Hamoed – Shacharit 10:00 AM
Food after all Passover services:
Mini Kiddush: Wine, water, coffee/tea, matzah with spread (butter, cream cheese, salmon, trout, honey), and fruit/vegetables.
If you want to bring something: Only packaged items with a kosher Pesach hechsher without kitniyot, or fruit that does not require cutting.
